We’ve all been there. Shamir has been struggling with obesity and related health issues for as long as he can remember. He is in a better place now and can reflect upon his prior state objectively. Being obese, he learned how to distract others from paying attention to his body shape by making others laugh and entertaining them. These talents followed him in his career as he eventually became a Vice-President of a Fortune 500 company and a two-time award-winning stage actor.
