We are prisoners of our past experiences. In this segment we discuss the allegory of the baby elephant that was bound to a tree with a chain and the difficulty it had in freeing itself. We apply this example to illustrate how human beings are prisoners in their own minds and how their childhood experiences bind them to the proverbial tree with a weak piece of string.
